I thoroughly recommend this product! It has taken a long time for me to find a product like this and at such an amazing bargain price when high street shops are charging five times as much! A great product for hiding those unsightly bulges and not too restrictive as well, gives you a great shape underneath your outfit.

It is so comfy and really does bring in the waist BUT the only dislike I have is that when putting it on the dye from the material comes off on your hands. Saying that please don't let that put you off as it is a must have piece.

For £6 you can't go wrong really. It certainly does hold you in and define, and is comfortable - as long as you are stood up while wearing it. This would be fine to wear for a few hours on a night out, or if you're on your feet all day at work etc, but you can't sit down in it for too long without a) the wiring/boning digging into you and b) if they're bent for too long they seem to stay that way leaving it out of shape. So overall, great for occasional wear, or if you're not going to be sat down too long, but not one for sitting behind a desk all day comfortably in my opinion. But it's £6! Bargain.

I seriously think I might be in love with this control band. I bought it because I carry all my weight in my middle and I thought it might help slim down my silhouette.
It does it perfectly, gives me the figure I know I have, rather than the one I appear to have.
Everyone commented on how slim and shapely I looked.
I also loved how it shifted my whole posture, made me stand straighter and walk better, which of course, made me look even better.
Even better is how comfortable it is!
First time I wore it, was to work and I wore it all day. Very comfortable indeed. I was pleasantly surprised.
I will definitely be buying a couple more!

This is beautifully made and a great price but even a size bigger wouldn't go near me. This might be because i carry most of my weight at my front but it was very disappointing not to get a waist oh and the bit that i could do up at the top just rolled down! Not really recommended for us apple shapes.

this item is uncomfortable BUT it did the job and held me in making me feel more 'secure' and not so wobbily in my maxi dress. As long as you dont have to sit down for too long wearing this you'll be fine - go for a bigger size than normal though as it's not generous!

i am pleased with this item, but as i have read in some reviews when putting it on, first time, my hands took alot of dye off the embroidery so it would be advisable to pop in the wacher for a rinse wash before wearing it out. I also got a larger size from reading reviews but it wasnt necessary but it does stil fit nicely on the tightest hook/eye.

I bought this to go under a maxi dress for a wedding and was so impressed by it and the way it defined my waist. Some reviews say to buy bigger but I actually bought a size smaller in the hope it would really pull me in + it did, was still comfortable! I would say its not good if you're siting down a lot as the boned parts seem to bend out of shape and stay like that but after washing it popped back into shape! Highly recommend this!

This was a lovely purchase. The material and pattern are gorgeous. To be honest it still fit me a bit tight and I got it in my size but I tend to be heavier in the mid-section.

I bought the band to go underneath a dress for a big night out. It pulled me in at the waist, looked good under the dress giving me a nicer shape and was very comfortable even sitting down in it. Unlike other similar products that have cost a lot more, the boning wasn't bent by the end of the night, and as it is machine washable it is all ready for me to wear again.
A great product, although I would recommend that you buy a size bigger than you would normally wear because it is a small fit and you need to be comfortable.
Overall, great product and even better for the tiny price tag

I am usually a size 16-18 but having read the other reviews here I ordered a size up. This was definitely the right decision as it cut fairly small. I put control knickers on before trying on the belt. It fits beautifully! My body is apple shaped I suppose - I tend to have a big tummy and feel I look pregnant I was surprised just how well this product worked. I look two sizes smaller and there is no wobble anymore. It is comfortable, I can breathe fine :) but you can't slouch in it. You have to sit or stand upright (which perhaps isn't such a terrible thing).
I have found with other products that I can sometimes get a "muffin top" under my arms/bust but with this product I was able to pull the belt right up so that it met the bottom of my bra which pretty much eliminated the problem.
It's a surprisingly attractive too (unlike most control underwear).

I ordered the control band just to make myself feel slimmer and it does. It smooths out all the lumps and bumps and makes you feel slimmer. One tip though do go for the bigger size!

These work so much better than the control pants as it dosnt move and dosnt rool down. Ive tried corsets before but even the under bust ones push my boobs up to a point where they look slutty. I love this item and would strongly reccommend it to all!!

This product is very good and value for your money. I'm usually a 20-22 but i bought 16-18 which is great, it really cinches my tummy. It's long enough to fit from my underbust right down to upper hips. Very comfy too! ^^

I found this item to be very good iv had a baby and i have soft flesh aroung my stomach and it works perfectly only bad comment is the structure digs in a little sometimes but the way it made me look was definatley worth it!!!

WOW! I must admit I didn't think these would work. But, I managed to coneal a considerable amount of stomach fat. They were surprisingly comfortable and I could still breath, eat, and party the night away whilst looking great - fantastic! Would highly recommend them.

I have many things to say about this band.
First of all, yes, it is not bad value. You get what you pay for. It won't last you forever but it will do for a couple of nights out as long as you don't wear it extensively.
The fabric is of average quality,there's a pretty damask style panel at the right of the band which I found actually constricts the 'give' of the elastic beneath it. This is undoubtebly why several women experienced a problem even trying to get their band on even when ordering the size up. My advice is to do what I did, get a pair of scissors and cut the decorative panel off completely - the band will stretch properly and you'll fit into it.
As someone here mentioned, the wires inside it are flimsy plastic, and we all know what happens to plastic when heat gets to it. The wires go out of shape and in most women I've met who wore this particular one, it's usually the back part that goes out of shape (back hang is such a problem for the portly lady).
Does tend to ride up a bit at the bottom - could do with being a couple of inches longer. Mine wasn't as long as the version seen on the model on the product image - it was barely halfway down my ribs and touching my waist unlike the picture where it seems to go from beneath the breast right down to the hips.
All in all, it was a good product, but I wouldn't buy it again. The effects of wearing this were very brief, and even after five hours of being out, my stomach was starting to protrude again and the bumps were starting to show.
If you want to increase the life span of the undergarment after too many wears, get a sewing needle handy and some thread - you can fold and sew sections where it's stretched out to give it a little more lasting power.

Whilst I am waiting for the pounds to melt away, this is a quick fix for making dresses look & fit that little bit better, It was a bit tricky to get on but once on, I felt confident that my lumps were secure & hidden away.
